I made a Speech Recognition Teleprompter because sometimes I forget some of the things that I wanted to say. It's on a website not an app. It can be accessed at seabreezecomputers.com/teleprompter I made this speech recognition teleprompter because it can be difficult to use a regular teleprompter if you're recording videos by yourself. You have to start the teleprompter, start the camera and then get into position. The teleprompter will start scrolling even though you haven't started speaking yet. With a speech recognition teleprompter you can start it and it will wait for you to start speaking before scrolling. Also sometimes I like to go off script a little bit. This speech recognition teleprompter will stop scrolling and then listen for you to go back to the script. I tried other speech recognition teleprompters and they just didn't work well, so I made my own. How To Use
Requirements The Speech Recognition Teleprompter works with the speech recognition API built into some browsers like Chrome browser for desktop or Edge browser for desktop. It probably won't work with other Chromium based browsers because most of them don't have support for the Web Speech API. It works with Chrome for Android devices, however, you may hear a constant voice recognition beep unless you mute the volume on the Android device. It also probably won't work well with Apple iOS devices like iPads or iPhones because Apple didn't program a good speech recognition service into the Javascript Web Speech API for Safari in iOS. I hope that you like this Speech Recognition Teleprompter by Sea Breeze Computers and that you are able to use it for making your videos.
